Asa Choate Jr., 86, Port Ludlow, Wash.

      Asa Burnham Choate Jr., of Port Ludlow, Wash., died June 9, 2007, of cancer, in San Antonio, Texas. He was 86 and a native of Teakean, Idaho, and Orofino. Parents were Asa B. Sr., and Cecile Worthington Choate of Teakean.
      He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; his parents; and two brothers, Lewis and Sherman.
      Survivors include a son, Terry and wife of New Llano, La.; four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
      Internment was at Washington Memorial Park, at SeaTac, Wash.
